 Possibly a Schroeder Infant. Please help identify.

Story

The infant in the photograph has not been identified.  Given the photographer, Theo E. Setzer, was located in St. Louis, Missouri at 1633 South Broadway, my bet is this is a child of John and Anna (Meier) Schroeder.  There is known to be one male child, August Otto Schroeder, that died in infancy. Possibly this is a portrait of August - but it could be any of the other children in the family.[2]

1. Ella Anna Paulina (Kirmse) Krueger shared this photograph December 30, 2003.
2. In a biographical sketch of Joseph Schroeder there is mention of 10 children being born to John H. and Anna (Meier) Schroeder. At this time I have found records of only 8 children including August Otto.  So there appear to be 2 other children to be found.  This same biographical sketch states that Joseph was the fourth child - so one missing child was born before 1880 and a second was born after 1880.
