When Maria "Mary" Kirmse was born on February 7, 1868, in Farrar, Missouri, her father, Julius, was 33 and her mother, Barbara, was 25. She married Clemens Doernhoefer on February 9, 1893, in her hometown. They had three children in 14 years. She died on September 9, 1947, in Ancell, Scott, Missouri, at the age of 79.

Clemens Doernhoefer was born on February 19, 1857, in Germany. He married Maria "Mary" Kirmse on February 9, 1893, in Farrar, Missouri. They had three children in 14 years. He died on March 11, 1942, in Perryville, Missouri, at the age of 85.

When Edward Julius Doernhoefer was born on May 31, 1894, in Perryville, Missouri, his father, Clemens, was 37 and his mother, Maria, was 26. He had two brothers. He died on October 26, 1982, in his hometown, at the age of 88, and was buried in Perry County, Missouri.
